CT Scan

The CT scan combines a series of images taken from different body angles using the latest technology to create transversal images of the bones, blood vessels and soft tissues inside the body.

It is used to visualize almost every part of the body to diagnose illnesses or injuries and for the planning of medical, surgical or radiation treatments. The CT scan images provide much more detailed information than the one provided by an X-ray.

Preparation

Preparation will depend on the type of CT scan prescribed by your doctor. A qualified member of our staff will contact you prior to your exam and provide you with all the information needed.

Exams performed:

  • Abdomen

  • Brain

  • Cervical Spine

  • Hip

  • Lumbar Spine

  • Neck soft tissue

Results

A certified radiologist will review and analyze the images. He will then submit a detailed report that will be sent to your physician. Once your physician has reviewed the report, they will follow up with you to discuss the findings and next steps.
